About the AEE Foundation's Scholarship Fund

The AEE Foundation Scholarship program was established to encourage qualified practitioners in energy engineering and energy management to further education in these fields by awarding scholarships. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $700,000 in funds for use by 1,375 outstanding students.

Eligible Studies
Scholarships are available to candidates obtaining their undergraduate or graduate degrees who are enrolled in an accredited college or university focusing on energy engineering or energy management.

All individual applicants must be nominated by a local AEE Chapter.
We begin accepting applications January 1st. All scholarship forms must be sent electronically to the Scholarship Chair (see email address on application form) by May 1st. For additional information on submission and eligibility, please contact Priscila at or 770.447.5083 ext. 227 or your local chapter president. Please see instructions below.

Step 2: Fill out student application after January 1st. (This form can be completed in the interactive PDF and saved on your computer or printed.)

Step 3: Find a local AEE Chapter and submit your completed application form with supporting documents to them for nomination.

Step 4: The Scholarship Chair for the AEE Chapter will complete the Chapter Recommendation for Scholarship Nominee form and submit it along with your application documents to the AEE Foundation Scholarship Director, Mrs. Priscila Rivere,, by May 1. (This form can be completed in the interactive PDF and saved on your computer or printed.)

Step 5: The AEE Foundation will notify applicants and Chapter Scholarship Chairs of results by U.S. mail.

With the growth of the Association of Energy Engineers, the increase in the number of scholarship applicants, and the rising cost of education, the AEE Foundation is expanding its efforts to bolster and enhance the financial underpinnings of the Scholarship Program. The Foundation continues to welcome contributions from AEE members and individuals, historically, the backbone of our funding.

Major industry leaders increasingly recognize the value of the AEE Scholarship Program and the importance of their role in contributing to the development of future leaders. Please click here to contribute to the foundation.

Help support the AEE Scholarship Foundation by making a personal or AEE Chapter donation today to encourage and support the energy engineers of tomorrow.

The Baltimore and Illiana Chapter of AEE both made significant contributions to the AEE scholarship fund.  We thank these loyal AEE Chapters for their continued generosity.
