Third CEM Course Completed in Jordan

Jordan Energy Chapter – EDAMA Completed
The Third Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) Training Course in Jordan

The Jordan Energy Chapter –EDAMA held the 3rd Certified Energy Manager Course (CEM) in Amman Jordan between the period Dec 2 -6, 2012. Twenty four people attended the five days course. Eng. Amjad Alkam, CEM JEC President and Eng Naim Awadallah, CEM, CRM who are both AEE CEM certified trainers and senior experts in the energy field in Jordan gave the training. Ms Hala Zawati, EDAMA CEO, gave an opening speech at the start of the training session welcoming them to the training and becoming part of the certified training workforce in Jordan.

The course was advertised in the local newspapers one month in advance and it was circulated to all the mailing lists. Awareness was made in the local community about the important of the CEM exam.

The attendees who took the CEM course work at the private sector, universities, utility companies, energy service companies, engineering companies and public sectors.

CEM credential has become widely accepted and used as a measure for professional accomplishment within the energy management field in Jordan and worldwide. It has gained popularity in the industry sector and is recognized as a standard for qualifying energy professionals world-wide.

The certified individuals who passed the exam will be recognized next month at an event when the certificates are issued by the AEE.
