The teleconferencing system for this program, provided by the University of Wisconsin, is called WisLine Web, and combines the ease of an audio conference call with the power of visually interactive web-based materials.
Comprehensive in scope and content, this online seminar will be delivered in six two-hour teleconferencing sessions, supplemented with readings and discussion hosted on our course web site. You'll have opportunities to interact with your instructor and colleagues in realtime during live teleconferencing sessions and the time between sessions. For more information on the technology used for this program, visit www.uwex.edu/ics/wlweb. The seminar fee covers seminar materials, course certificate, and teleconferencing services, including domestic phone charges. (International calls will be billed separately.) Enrollment in this realtime online seminar will be limited to 40 participants to ensure that each student has ample opportunity for interaction with instructors and other participants. You will
receive instructions, personal support, and a chance to test your teleconferencing
connection in advance of the first session. |
